Paradise City has a beautiful on-site restaurant, offering stunning panoramic views of the warm Indian ocean, Tumbatu island and - if you're lucky - the occasional family of friendly dolphins. But we must confess that these are not on the menu.

Our team of expert chefs are well experienced in a variety of cuisines, and will be delighted to cater to any specific dietary requirements.

Choose anything from lobster, shrimp, octopus, calamari, yellowfin tuna, kingfish, snapper and grouper to .. many others. Everything is freshly caught daily, and prepared lovingly to suit the highest of discerning, exotic tastes. Sumptuous meaty feasts, vegetarian/vegan delights, pasta and soups are always available. Discover an array of delicious Swahili meals, and enjoy a plethora of wonderful local tropical fruit and nuts.

We hold weekly barbecues under the starry, moonlit sky, accompanied by a spectrum of world music, the occasional live band and jam sessions. So do bring your nose flute, trombone or maracas and get involved!

Of course, Paradise City has a fully stocked bar, open from rather earlier than would likely please your doctor. Our barmen will gladly create bespoke cocktails for you to try, the old classics like fresh coconut with rum, mai tai, tequila sunrise - as you watch the spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your bar stool, hammock, hanging beach bed, paddle board, kayak - or perhaps from the back of an ostrich (if you can find one)..

Our restaurant, bar and glorious swimming pool with sun loungers - are open to all, whether you're staying with us or not. So do invite your friends and sip your chilled beverage, munch some fresh snacks and improve your tan under the dazzling Zanzibarian sunshine.
